Big Creek Missions: Work Day One
Todays assignments were wheelchair building, tutoring, improving Big Creek for future groups, sorting our massive amount of community donations and helping the local clothing pantry. The wheelchair ramp we are building is for a woman from the near by town of Wooton this 94 foot project will last the whole week. The tutoring was at Hyden Elementary and both the kids and the teachers were cordial and intrigued about life in Nebraska. The 3 main projects we undertook at Big Creek today were building bunk beds, working on their office/staff area, and installing the intercom system. The community donations once sorted were brought to God’s Pantry were the group helped sort their stock and improve their building. All these projects have been tons of fun, tiring, and very rewarding. So until tomorrow, God Bless you and thank you for your prayers.
