Big Creek Missions: Day Three
This was the longest day so far due to the fact that we wanted to make sure we could get close to finishing all the projects so we could start traveling home tomorrow. The Henderson house was gutted today and the roof was patched and braced. God’s Closet got more help today with sorting clothes and painting. The ramp is almost finished and only has about 10 feet left to go. The school group visited three schools today and it actually got split into two groups so we could devote more time to them. After we returned from this hard day at the sites some people started finishing the jobs around here mainly laying carpet. The head of Big Creek Kevin Rogers taught last night and tonight and the main thing he stressed to us is this isnt about us, Big Creek, or any other organization, it’s about Christ Jesus. He and his assistant Katie have been a blessing to work with and we will miss them and the times we’ve shared. Thanks for your prayers and God Bless.
